English and American grill.

This Weekend I didn't have to travel to London for a great fish and chips and several pints. That because a bit of jolly old England has been incorporated into the Baker St. Pub & Grill, named for the London thoroughfare where you’d be likely to find Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous sleuth, Sherlock Holmes.
There are lunch, dinner and late nite menus which are priced resonable.Great late happy hour 2pm -9pm

$1.75 Well drinks,
$1.75 Select Pub Draughts
$2.00 House Wine
$2.25 Select Call Drinks
$6.00 Select Pub Pitchers

What more could a pub-goer want or need? Games, of course. Baker St offers pool, bar-top games, Golden Tee and darts.

Also for us smokers this place rocks with there large patio with fire pits and full service outside with several place for you to sit and rest your bum.

The Park Tavern

Denver, CO 80218-2803

Another good spot with great late night happy hours. 2-1 on most beer and drinks. They give you little poker chips with every drink to redeem whenever you want that free drink. Its really a pretty cool idea if u ask me.
The food there is basic and honestly plan but its cheep and the kitchen is open all night.
The one downside i did find was that if u wanted to smoke u had to put your drink down with a coaster on it so someone doesn't throw it away and make your way back out the front door and stand around talking with the other smokers. Ok so we cant smoke inside and one day i hope to be a non-smoker but till then i wish place who have a patio like they do to open it up to smokers who can sit down with there drinks and food and hang out not worry about there stuff. ok now with that being said it is a good place for friendly faces and cheep beer.

05/11/2008 Posted by fruitopia22 Here's the deal: It's practically always happy hour at this place, meaning 2-for-1 drinks pretty much anytime you're there. If it's not happy hour, it's probably $2-U-Call-Its (Tuesday nights), or DOLLAR drinks (Saturday nights). And even if none of things happen to be going on while you're there, the drinks are still cheaper than most places anyway. Plus, there's bingo on Monday nights and trivia on Wednesday nights, poker on Sundays, tons of TV's if you want to watch a sports game, and there are pool and foosball tables. So if the cheap drinks and tons of entertaining activities aren't enough to convince you that the Park Tavern is awesome, try the food!! Seriously, the pizza is surprisingly good (and cheap)!! The Greek salad is another one of my favs, along with the buffalo chicken sandwich. The burgers are tasty as well, and my biggest complaint is that mine might not have been cooked exactly to temperature (I asked for medium, and it was more along the medium-well side). Although there can sometimes be white-trashy type people there, there are also the awesome, down-to-earth people there too! I definitely agree with what has been said about there not being yuppies, just a good mix of different, genuine people! Including the staff!! So you tell me, what more could you want?!?

Pros: Cheap drinks, AWESOME food, and laid-back atmosphere

Cons: The building isn't necessarily the prettiest, and they do last-call early

This place has been a good reliable spot on capital hill for many years now.The cheep beer, good food and friendly staff are probably some of the reasons why they have been around for so long.

They have one of the best happy hours around 2-1 drafts, long island and margaritas from 4-7pm. They have several food items which are all equally priced and equally good(Try the little BBQ brisk sandwich damn good).

The bar is rather large with ample seating in three different areas. A large outside patio for us smokers(which is very important) and several pool tables.

All around i found it to be a great spot and i shall return as often as i can.

Steve-
Happy Hour and trivia Wed. is all you really need to know.
Where else can you get TALL 2 for 1s after work all day? Not only that...but its a great deal on appetizers also. I have been there after work and its busy, for a game its busy and for no reason and it was busy. A great place to go if you are not sure where to start the night - and you just might finish there also.

I went to Govs Park for a friends birthday last week. The weather was terrible and God forbid if you can park anywhere in the vicinity of the restaurant. It was crowded and absolutely boiling hot inside - think sweaty mullets and you'll get the picture. If you like to get 2-for-1 big as$ beers, this is place for you. But you better drink fast because it's so flippin hot in there your 2nd beer will be hot before you get back to your table (if you can even find a table). And if you drink wine, good luck. You'll be hungover before the first sip is completely down your throat. There weren't any good wines on the menu and the waitress almost made me feel like a snob for asking! I can't comment on the food - I was so disgusted by the heat and the atmosphere alone the only thing my menu was good for was trying to fan myself with air.
I found the crowd to be obnoxious and the guys drunk and way too forward.
