Weekend Round-Up

Well I blinked and May is over. I attend a listening party for the new Placebo album Battle For the Sun but failed to hear any of it. They either didn't play it at all or just played 5 minutes of it because we got there shortly after the doors opened. Oh well for what its worth it sounds great. Lollapaloozaline up was released recently and it looks fucking amazing with rumors of more to come. Like maybe a Beatles reunion with Paul and Ringo hooking back up for a few songs. I have never been to Chicago and would love to go. Tickets are cheap and its not to far away for me.

If your wondering what happened in the world of marijuana over the weekend then you have come to the right spot.

Next week Cannabis lovers in California can hang out in the Playboy Mansion for Marijuana Policy Project or MPP's 4th Annual Party at the Playboy Mansion June 4, 2009.

Cool Pics

Just two hours to the south of me Thomas Sexton, 55 is awaiting charges for a 2007 raid on his property where over 130 plants were confiscated because on Friday A Pueblo judge denied the request to throw out charges against him based on how the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office searched his property. Good Luck Thomas We will be praying for your victory in your fight.

Last week, Maine's Senate passed LD 1159 on a vote of 25-10. The bill would allow for farming of Industrial Hemp. Amazing! While Oregon is also on the verge of passing industrial hemp legislation.

FREE MARC EMERY!!!!

And finally more sad news out of Montana. David Tunes 49was shot and killed last month defending his home from burglars. On Friday police released that Tunes was a medical marijuana cultivator and user and that was the motive for the robbery.
