Bored...

so my landlord has fucked me. I've lived here in this building for over 2 years now. I lived in a 2 bedroom with my roommate but i now live in a nice 1 bedroom. I already have 900 dollars tied up in my deposit from the last place but since the place was in my roommates name so they mailed the deposit to my roommates new home then made me pay another deposit. I am on a budget and when i have to come up with 700 overnight it is kind of tough. like i said before my landlord is working with me by allowing me to pay the deposit half this month and the other half next month but because of this i am still broke as i have ever been.

New Beginings...

Im in! I am officially my own roommate for the first time in 15 years and for the first time in a while im also broker than Ive ever been but with a little shear luck im going to make it out of this one doing just fine.

its weird, moving out of one apartment and moving back into the apartment right next door. The first night I stumbled home a little drunker than usual and came into the building no problems but i found myself trying to unlock my new neighbors door at 3 in the morning. Beside that the apartment is great. no problems besides the 2 redneck tweekers living above me in a 1 bedroom. they have a crazy love for "Rock Band" the video game, especially the drums. Banging the drums on hardwood floors at all houses of the night. Fucking disrespectfully cock fuckers.

i love karma. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Be nice and it pays off. I help a lot of people out, not looking for anything in return but just because its the right thing to do.

Moving Day

Whew that wasnt so bad. I as usual made it out to be worse then it really was. This time at least moving was just a pain in my ass. I currently have no home, I paid for the deposit but cant move into the house for another week. It freaking sucks, im at the mercy of my friends. I have loaned my couch to countless people and now its karma's time to repay me. Its weird being un-stable, and on top of all that, the state took my drivers licence away for not keeping up to date with my 400 a month child' support payment. Im trying, but its hard trying to keep head afloat.

When the apartments ready which wont be for ten days its right next door to my old house. Same building, literally right next door. I moved all my belongings into the storage shed in the basement and will have to move it all again...

Trying to save money for Aspen. Gotta ask a lawyer to sponsor somehow....

Kush at Casselmans Kick off party

Sundays for me are usually extremely lazy, I don't move from the couch and I smoke heavily! But I am one of the lucky ones, I am able to medicate inside of my own house. For many others who cant medicate inside of there on home for one reason or another, finding a friendly safe place where they are able to go, medicate and socialize will become something of great importance and they will be looking for a place to go. That place my friends is Casselmans bar and venue in Denver.

Today was a great day. Lucky for me, I have been having more and more of those lately and as of late I really see no end in sight. Today was filled with great vibes, good medicine and this, beautiful classic 1975 Volkswagen bus!

STUPID STONER STORY

A great thing happened last year. 2009 saw the explosion of medical marijuana dispensary all across the state including Denver. Several cities put moratoriums in place, outlawing all form of dispensaries with in the city limits. The reason for the moratoriums in the cities are not only driven by pure and un-adulterated ignorance but out of simple fear. Fear because like everything else in life the he public vision of a dispensary is incorrect. They have a vision that a dispensary 1880's opium type den filled to the top with marijuana, hippies sitting around "getting high" while owners, "The Mexican drug cartels" count all the 10's of thousands of dollars they've made that day.

ith the economic downfall, people are broke and hungrier than ever. Around the same time several of the new dispensaries were blooming, Denver was also seeing another trend, not like anything seen before. In the month of December, Denver saw 20 bank robberies, a number not seen since the early Wild Wild West days when gunslingers walked these same streets proud, but people aren't running around demanding that we close all the banks???

What needs to happen, is the public will open there eyes, educate themselves of cannabis, the state and the city laws and soon the public will realize that robbing a dispensary is pointless. There is little medicine on site at all times and the cash isn't in the building to long and most have alarms now and the police are close by at all time. Much like a 7-11. People stopped robbing those after they realized it wasn't worth robbing and the chance of getting caught were high. Until then we will keeping getting stories like this that come though the wire.

"Man breaks through drywall to get to medical marijuana next door"

Tomorrow I will be embarking on a new journey to the new frontier. A journey that will enhance every aspect about my life. I am putting my money where my mouth is so to speak. I put my 2 week notice at my day job and tomorrow I start my new career. I will be your local Bud Tender at Pride in Medicine, Denver's newest dispensary located nicely at 731 6th ave in Denver (6th and Sante Fe) Its a clean, friendly, reliable and safe place where Colorado medical marijuana patients can obtain there medicine and maybe walk away with some valuable knowledge.

I will be documenting my journey completely for everyone so stay tuned for pics and video.

This is it people. Its game time

Do something You Love and You'll Never Have to Work a Day in Your Life

Today was the day. The straw that broke the camels back. It was going great early on. I found a crisp $20 bill in my jacket pocket, the buses ran surprisingly on time and the weather hasn't been this beautiful in months.

When i started my job almost 4 years ago, I loved it, but as time grew, like everything else my love for the job faded. Now lately, I have been pondering a rare opportunity that was presented to me to help open a medical marijuana dispensary. Its a dream come true. Do something you love and you'll never have to work in your life. My father told me that once and for the most part of my life, I never thought that I'd find something even close to that. I always thought that I would be a slave to "The Man" for the rest of my life. That has recently changed.

Pride and Medicine will be a new dispensary opening in Denver and I am the newest employee. I have put my two week notice at my day job ehich i have held for 4 years now. It has been to this point the bet job i have worked at, but its time for my boat to set sail...

Big Brother is Always Watching

Last week while reading though the best free newspaper in Denver I came across a article that i found interesting and thought it was worth sharing to you all.

During the DNC Denver was awarded a large grant of $1 million dollars in which they used for surveillance camera which they stationed around the downtown area. The name for the project was fittingly called HALO. It stands for High Activity Location Observation. Today there over 60 cameras around town that the police monitor during the day and it is left unattended at night. And now the LT. in charge is ready to move its HALO operation into Denver surrounding neighborhoods. Placing them on street signs hoping there very presence will cut back on the crime. "its like putting a cop on every corner of the city. Its a very effective tool that we have been given the opportunity to use." The LT was quoted in saying. But does the cameras really protect us or are they really just another attempt at the police invading our privacy???

Insiders Report

There has been a lot of goings on around here as of late. First off I lost someone very close to me this week. A good dear friend. My Car. She was old (87) but still new (under 100k miles) She lost her battle on Saturday night and after several days of emergency repair work I threw in the towel and called it at 8:30 yesterday morning. So needless to say that i have been taken the nations #1 transit system in North America the RTD or the Rough Tough and Dangerous. I'm used to riding the bus to and from work, I did so for a year and a half everyday rain, snow or shine. I don't hate to per say but there are some aspects that i enjoy and some that I cant stand, but enough of that.

There have been some big headlines nation wide this past week or so pertaining to the Marijuana Movement here in the U.S.

This week the AP wrote a compelling article about How Momentum is building for the movement seemingly trying to urge the government in the direction of, at lease some dialog on the since Taboo subject. AP NEWS

Yesterday in Rhode Island the Lawmakers in the General Assembly voted to overturn a veto by the Rep. Gov. allowing stores to dist. marijuana to paitents locally. Rhode Island

Local News
In my own backyard this week a few interesting things are taking place.
For the first time a group called Sensible Breckenridge in the city of Breckenridge are trying to gather enough signatures to have a measure put on the ballot to remove any and all criminal penalties for Adults who use and or possess Marijuana up to and under 1 ounce Breckenridge Ballots

Memorial Day Weekend

Hello there. Well its Tuesday morning, the day after Memorial Day and i am back at work but it feels like a Monday. Oh well what ever day it is here we go with a recap of the weekend and a few other things.

As of late, I have become a huge race fan and no I am not a fan of NASCAR but of the F1 and the IRL racing leagues respectively and On Sunday morning or Saturday morning this side of the International date line English driver Jensen Button won his fifth race making it five out of six wins for Brawn Mercedes team in Monaco. I am not sure how he is doing it. I have only been able to find the replays of the race, never the whole race so I only see what "They" want me to see.

"There is nothing better the Indy 500, Maybe a piece of pussy but besides that" one of the best quotes in a awesome movie "Platoon" Helio Castroneves became only the sixth racer in history to three peat at the brickyard with superstar hottie Danica Patrick actually finishing the race and coming in a close third. P.S if you are a driver watch out for the first turn on the first lap it could be a doosy.

With a heart breaking lose on Saturday the Denver Nuggets redeemed themselves with a blowout win on Monday against the Los Angeles Losers. Sorry about that Miss-type there. The Los Angles Lakers, is that better.

And last but not least I am still waiting patiently to hear back from NORML regarding starting a local chapter in Denver. When they say 4-6 weeks they are serious about that. So i will just have to wait longer.

Well that about raps up this posting. Make it a Great Week!

Been a long time

Hello world. Hows going. For me personally, I have been feeling a little down lately and it just so happens that i haven't written one single word beside meaningless stuff for my day job in a few weeks now. The weekend came and past and nothing came out not one word. I didn't even see the sunlight. I was stuck. What was it that consumed me. I'll tell you, i was playing, VIDEO GAMES. Well actually I was just playing one game,

Empire: Total War

Its my vote for PC game of the year. FYI I don't have a vote. I wish i had a vote somewhere but i don't but if i did this game would differently get my vote! Lets see what else has been going on.

I'm still waiting for a response back from NORML on starting a local chapter here in Denver. They say 4-6 weeks and it has been only three so i just need to take a step back and be a little more patient. I have heard from "My Sources" that it takes a long time because of the lack of actual paid employees throughout the Organization. I just wanted to have the chapter before before I attend the NORML Aspen Legal Conference which is just two short weeks away.

See I feel better already. So last but not least something else before i go try my hands in frying my own chicken. I'm Excited.

Just eight short blocks from the capital of Colorado. I Love my neighborhood! The architecture in the neighborhood is something you can spend hours walking around and admiring. I have lived in my apartment now going on eight months and i have only meet the people across the hall, that is until recently. With spring time apron us people have been to wonder outside and into the apartment common area. I have since meet the guy who plays his music at a ear blowing level "Cosomo" while i was having a drink with Cosmo, Kate and Ali came outside to grill what Kate called "there dinner for the week." They were afraid to light the grill. "It could blow" they said in a very convincing tone.

Thanks, I needed that. Until next time.

Good Bye Cutler

The saga is finally over and Denver has lost. The Denver Broncos today traded Jay Cutler, who was and still is the second coming of the man himself John Elway after a month long saga. Cutler is the real deal, a truly dominant player but he also is the city's biggest cry baby who ever played professionally in this great state. Depending on the side that you listen to you will learn a few different things.

From the Broncos we could learn that the NFL is a business and teams will do what ever it takes to make it themselves the best franchise overall. And that means firing the Coach/ General Manager and threaten to trade the star player in order to "shake"things up a bit.

From Cutler we learn that even though the player make millions of millions of dollars they are still human and young and if you cut them and if you have ever talked to him or someone like him you probably will want to they will bleed and then whine like the little bitch that he is!!!

Somebody got a case of the Mondays

Its the worst feeling in the world I think. That moment when you feel it yes something is definitely wrong. You know that it's waiting just around the corner and its picking up steam. Then upon waking up the next morning it hits you. Your body aches, you cant stop couching, your burning up one minute and the next your freezing. Im talking about the Rhino Virus otherwise known as the common cold.
I started feeling like shit on Saturday morning and i should have stayed in bed but no i had to go out. I went to the St Patrick's Day Parade downtown and drank till i didn't feel sick anymore hell i drank till i didn't fell shit anymore. Oh well what are you going to do, hind sight is 20/20 they say. So I took the day off from work and I am getting a chance to kick back in the Lazy Boy and watch some movies but not before i did a little surfin. And this is what i found today. Denver can add a new professional sports team The Denver Dream to there all ready long list of local teams.

The Lingerie Football League comes to Denver

“It’s a beautiful thing, women taking each others heads off,” chairman and owner of the Lingerie Football League Mitchell Mortaza tells us. “You really can’t beat it.” I agree. To find out more about the LFL click here Lingeriebowl.com
