Omar Kaadr was only 15 when he was shot several times in the chest by Special Forces agents in a firefight in the Eastern part of Afghanistan in 2002 where 1 soldier was wounded and died 10 days later from his wounds.

The American solders patched up the wounded boy and flew him to a remote Air Force base located just to the west of there position for the interrogation process. According to him he was tortured into the submission of murder.
Now with Obama's closing of the prison in Guantanamo Bay Kaadr may be released to his home country of Canada where he could be released upon arrival. Juveniles in Canada are often swatted on the hand and sent on there way and some experts think that this case is no different.
